Tewkesbury Under
Tiger Terror!!

Performed on Tuesday April 15^th at 7:00pm
at the Watson Hall, Barton Street, Tewskesbury.

Danny’s Dad has little time for his son, who responds by picking on weaker children. Jennie is the outsider, struggling to gain the acceptance and friendship of her classmates. She is ‘different’ and is, therefore, a target for bullying. Then a tiger escapes from Bristol Zoo.

The three characters are destined to meet in a confrontation which changes the lives and attitudes of the two children for ever.

This play grew out of a series of improvisation workshops over two terms, and is based largely on ideas and dialogue suggested by the youngsters of the factory. As an acting exercise, we also experimented with running scenes simultaneously, and you will notice this technique being used in the play.

The songs have been composed and written by Philip Davis, and have been greatly enjoyed by the children (and the adults!).
