Terry Doyle

Brenda's latest One Act Play - Terry Doyle - was performed at the GDA One Act Play Festival on Thursday 9th June at the Kings Theatre, Gloucester. (click on the name above for more information)

The adjudicator was impressed by the use of one man and one woman to play all the various rôles, and said that this intensified the effect of the play and worked really well. He also mentioned the furniture, and said how good it was that it was the same across the stage but with differences between the two sides. He was also impressed that Richard played 6 parts all with different accents. (Click for the adjudication)

When the awards were announced Terry Doyle won the Technical Award and Richard Hughes won the award for Best Supporting Actor for his multiple roles as The Man.

Debbie Lannon was nominated for the Best Actress award as The Woman and Jon Wagstaffe was nominated for the Best Actor award for the young Terry.
