The joint production with Tewkesbury's Mediaeval Society - A Ryght Evil Place - to be performed in Tewkesbury Abbey on Thursday 17 July has been cast and is rehearsing on Fridays in The Annex on Barton Street.

The TADS Diary has been been launched.  It can be seen here.  Send an email to diary@tads.org.uk if you want an entry added. It does not have to just be things which TADS are doing, you may suggest anything which might be of interest to members of TADS.

The 2008 AGM was held on Friday 28 March.  The previous committee was re-elected unopposed with Brenda's unofficial role of secretary being confirmed.  Oonagh made it clear that she might be leaving Tewkesbury within the next 12 months and the Vice-Chairman - Hannah Moore - agreed to take over the role of Chairman for the remainder of the year should that happen.

The AGM was sad to hear that John Elliot has decided to end his acting career and leave TADS after many years membership.  Oonagh wrote him a short letter of appreciation of the work he has done for TADS over the years.  As you would expect we received a gracious and amusing note back.

The January 2008 production of Pride & Prejudice at the Roses Theatre, directed by Richard Hughes, was  extremely successful with at least 500 tickets sold for the two evening and one matinee performances.  It was agreed to  reserve a similar slot at the Roses for 2009. No decision yet has been made on what will be produced.

The Factory" - Due to the workload of the people organising the Factory, there are no plans to restart at this time.  Watch this space for further details.
