The Pied Piper

A Musical Play

by David Wood and Dave & Toni Arthur

Directed by:Philip Davis
Production Dates:24 - 26 February 2005
Venue:The Roses Theatre

Description

This musical play is an adaptation of the Robert Browning poem about the Pied Piper. It was performed by the adults from TADS and the children from The Factory.

It starts with children playing in the square in modern times and being told that they may not play there. When they ask why, we are taken back in time and the original story is played out.

At the end when we return to modern times there is a sting in the tail as the Piper returns once more to demand his payment.
