Description

This surreal play is packed with literary references. The events revolve around a gunman holding up a book shop and what happens after he does not quite get the reaction he expects. But if you do hold up an Anarchist Book Shop, have to endure the slushy cliché-ridden ramblings of first love after attending a Creative Writing course,  what more can you expect...

Play Writing Competition - GDA One Act Festival 2006

This play was first submitted to the Play Writing Competition at the GDA One Act Festival in 2006. This is a competition where the script is submitted but the play is not performed (TADS had selected another play to perform that year: Course of Events by Geoff Guy)

After that it just had to be performed and TADS decided to present it at the  2007 All England Theatre Festival at the Playhouse Theatre, Cheltenham and for the 2007 GDA One Act Festival at the Kings Theatre, Gloucester.
