TADS and the Millenium

TADS have sent the photo and a short article about TADS, its history, TADS today, and the future of TADS to the Tewkesbury Millenium Project.  Anyone wishing to see a copy of the article may get one from Philip Davis.

Next Production

Richard Hughes is considering directing “Comedy of Errors”  for next summer.  This would be an open-air production, with one or more performances at the Roses.

Minack Theatre

We are trying to arrange putting on a play at this open-air theatre. Although it is unlikely that we can do anything for some years because of the long waiting list, this it certainly something well worth the effort.  Watch this space for more details.

Reminder:

GLOBE Theatre trip

It seems a long time ago since you booked…. So here is a reminder to those of you who booked to see Antony & Cleopatra.  Saturday, 18th Sept. at 9:30am Mitton Shops.

Bredons Norton Players: Three One-Act Plays

Nick O’Sullivan is appearing in these plays directed by Brenda Read.  A member of TADS, Bob Skelt, wrote one of the plays (Five dog Night).  The plays are at Kemerton Village Hall on 10th and 11th September.  Call Brenda Read for more information or to get tickets on: 01684 773120

Fund Raising

Janet Lines has ordered 25 Christmas card and gift catalogues. Commission on every sale will be earned for TADS. Janet will be giving the catalogues out at the first CCF rehearsal.  This is one way TADS can raise money to keep membership costs down.

Next Monthly Meeting

Next meeting is on Tuesday 21st Sept. at 8pm in the Morecambe Room at the Roses. All are welcome.
