TADS Millenium Photo.

TADS have been asked to provide a photograph of current members for the Tewkesbury Historical Society record of the Millenium.

This B&W photograph will be taken by Arthur of “Posers”  outside the Roses Theatre on Saturday the 5th June at 9:00am.

Dress is to be ‘Contemporary’  NOT costume.  If you want to buy a copy later, its £6

Abbey Nativity Play

Geoff Guy is hoping to direct this as a joint venture for the churches in Tewkesbury, for performance at Xmas/New Year 1999!   TADS members are welcome to attend the preliminary meeting Fri. 25th June at the Methodist Church Hall.   Geoff Guy (01684) 292827.

Cold Comfort Farm (directed by Pat Davis) Feb. 2000. Read-through on Friday 2nd July 7:30pm in the Morcambe room at the Roses.  Auditions will be in the Autumn.  For more details call Pat Davis, (01684) 299162

New seating for the Roses.

As the Roses are appealing for people to help them re-seat the theatre by purchasing one or more seats at the theatre, TADS have decided to assist by making a donation for two seats, and we will let you know which seats they are after they have been installed.

 

 

Our Next Production

The Man of La Mancha is on at the Roses from Thursday 17th to Sat 19th June at 7:30pm.

Ticket prices are £6.50  - concessions are £5

Town Council Grant.

The Tewkesbury Town Council have given us a grant of £100 towards the cost of purchasing walkie-talkies.  These have been purchased already, and will be invaluable to Martin up on the lighting gantry for The Man of La Mancha.

GDA AGM

A number of TADS members will be attending the GDA AGM and award giving ceremony on the 13th June in Churchdown.  The TADS production of “There goes the Bride was eneterd into the full length play competition.
